It is very easy to sign up, either you can access Leagle on your desktop or download the app. It’s free to join and Leagle offers each law firm a 30-day free trial for unlimited user access. After the free trial ends there is a fixed monthly subscription per (lawyer) user. There is no contract so law firms and lawyers can leave the platform at any time. The two important steps to get started are as follows.

To register your law firm, you have to be a partner or owner of the firm. In some cases, you can also register if you are an authorized administrator at the law firm. Confirmation of the law firm’s company registration number and a connected BankID login is required for security during registration. Once the firm is registered you can invite other lawyers in the firm to join. They can also join at any time but will be required to confirm their law firm email and then login in with BankID.

Creating a profile allows you to add a photo, list which type of law you are practicing, and your rates if you would like. Then add a short biography and specify the languages you speak. Once your profile is set up it’s important that you then connect your calendar, so that you never get double booked and are receiving updates each time a client makes a new booking. Providing all this information will help prospective clients get to know you better.

After your initial 30-day trial the law firm will have to pay 499 kronor per month for every user (lawyer) account that has access to the platform. There is also a cost per hour for video meetings divided into two categories. Old clients (Clients who the lawyer already has a relationship with and invites to connect with their profile on the Leagle platform.) For each hour of a video meeting with old clients, we charge 20 kronor and this is charged at 15-minute intervals (5 kronor per 15 minutes) New clients: These clients have used the search for a lawyer function on our webpage or the app and have no prior relationship with the lawyer. For each hour of video meeting, we charge 40 kronor and this is charged at 15-minute intervals (10 kronor per 15 minutes) As part of their subscription each user ( lawyer ) gets 600 minutes ( 10 hours ) in credit to use for audio and video calls. But these minutes have to be used up each month. At the start of the next month, the balance is reset to 600 minutes. You can see your amount of credit on the app homepage. You can also see a summary of how many minutes you have used for that month in video calls.

No, there is no contract with your subscription. All we require is 30 days' notice ( before the next billing period ) to close your account. The law firm admin user in the application ( Usually a partner and or owner in the law firm ) must make the request. If there are other partners registered and using the application they will receive notification of the request and must agree before the account can be closed. If the law firm's admin user in the application wants to leave then he can transfer the administration of the account over to another user before his account can be removed. The clients may keep any of their own data that is stored under their profile regardless if the law firm should leave the platform.

The law firm that has set up the account is the owner of the law firm's client data. The client may also request a copy of their data or removal from the platform but the law firm itself always retains the client data saved in their account. If the client wishes that to be removed then they will have to contact the law firm directly.

If you leave the law firm where the account is held your clients will have the option to follow up with you if you open a new account. When leaving the law firm account the clients will be transferred to a waiting room until you (the lawyer) and the law firm agree on which clients have requested to move with you to another law firm. The clients can also make this request. This can only be done by our admin upon request from the above-mentioned parties. We will always abide by the correct legal decision regarding any lawyer or client account data transfer.

Yes, Once you have registered you will be prompted to invite any current clients using either email, sms, or both. They can easily connect via the link which they will receive in the invitation. They can then register a client account and connect.

Yes, You will be able to invite other lawyers in your firm to join meetings, chat and share documents. You can access a list of your lawyer colleagues in the application menu.

Yes, This can be done by simply searching for a lawyer in the client search portal and once you have found the lawyer you are looking for you simply request to connect or book a meeting with them.

New prospective clients will be able to book the first consultation by first selecting the lawyer and choosing a date and time that is available. Lawyers will be able to sync all their calendars so there will never be the possibility to get double booked. Lawyers can choose which days and how long the first consultation will be during the registration process. All this will be visible to the client when they book the first meeting. The new client will be unable to communicate with the lawyer until during the first consultation meeting. Once this meeting has been completed they will have the ability to chat and share documents with the lawyer and can easily book a new meeting. Already established clients will be able to find their lawyer either through an invitation sent to them from the lawyer or by simply writing the lawyer's name in the search field on the client's homepage. They can then indicate that have a connection with that lawyer and once the lawyer confirms the connection they will be able to correspond with each other, book meetings, chat, and share documentation.

Leagle was designed with the highest level of security as our main focus. All messaging, video, and audio calls are encrypted to protect private information. All files and documents are stored in each lawyer's locked storage vault. This vault is PIN code protected, adding an extra layer of security to protect anyone but you from viewing sensitive documents. The clients have the same level of security as the lawyers.

All our servers are located in Stockholm servers. No user information or data is stored outside of Scandinavia.

Yes, We are fully compliant will all GDPR requirements regarding the storage and transmission of any data within our application. All our data is stored in Stockholm. Leagle will not share or sell any user data to any third party. All data that is sent or received is within our own internal network.

All Lawyer registration is done through a verified company registration which is then connected to the user's BankID. All lawyers must use a BankID login whenever accessing the platform. We also verify the user's company email through a domain match and then verify each new user's mobile phone with 2-factor identification. Clients are prompted to use BankID to log in. All clients when registering an account will have to verify both their email and mobile phone number.

Our vision with Leagle was not only to build a fantastic application to add value to your law firm but to send new clients to you to help you grow and prosper. When you register, each lawyer creates a profile and designates which areas of law they are working with. When prospective client uses the search function on the client homepage they must choose which are of law they need assistance with. If your lawyer profile matches what they are searching for then we will put your profile in front of them. Please note: Leagle does not allow clients to rate lawyers, we feel this would be unfair as clients might not always be happy with the outcome of a case through no fault of the lawyer representing them.

If you have downloaded the app you will see upcoming meetings with your clients or other lawyers, and on the day/time of the meeting, you can just click on the “Go to meeting” button and the video meeting will open. Once the admin person ( the one who scheduled the meeting ) opens the meeting it will start. 2: If you have not downloaded the app you can click on the email link you receive and open your web browser and the video meeting will start. You can also log in to your account before and click on the “Go to meeting “ button under My meetings. 3. You can also start an instant meeting. This will initiate an instant video meeting between you and the chosen client or lawyer. You can also invite other users to the video meeting using the meeting invitation.
